Supplies Vs. The Rain.

So I was all gun-ho to get my bumble bee nests out today. But it's pouring.

Last night I drove up to Barnsboro, where a very wonderful woman gave me both the chicken wire and terracotta pots I needed for my homes (Via Freecycle). With what she gave me I will be able to make 3 bumble bee nests and a toad house! I also found some pots on my back porch that I will most likely turn into toad homes. (Just need some garden hose.)

I wish my kids were just a tad bit older so they could help me paint them. Maybe I can get my 19 month old to pay attention for about 5 seconds and finger paint one of them.

So hopefully this weekend I will be able to put them all out. Will keep you updated!
